3. Possibility to test the 2015 model BMW S 1000 RR

In 2015, EYBIS organises, for the 4th consecutive year, the BMW Motorrad Track Days.

This year, we 'll be in 6 countries, on 11 different circuits.

These events are open for all motorcycle brands and are supported by the BMW Motorrad factory in Munich.

Procedure

In the price of 20 € are included:

• an insurance (your maximum cost in case of a crash = 2.000 €)
• tire wear
• fuel for 1 session of 20' (in your own group instead of with your own motorcycle)

After the morning briefing, you can register between 9.00 and 10.00 for one test session. Please take with you:

• ID card
• Drivers licence
• Credit card (to block online the caution of 2.000 €)

Together we will decide in which session(s) you 'll test the new BMW S 1000 RR on the circuit, during 20'.

Then you come to the EYBIS pitbox 10' before your test session(s) where a coach will be assigned to you.

After a quick acquaintance, he will explain to you the main functionalities of your test bike.

Next, he will run in front of you for 2 laps.

Then you can ride totally free with your test bike for the rest of the session.

After completing your test session, you will be "welcomed" by your coach who will be very interested in your feedback.

4. Presence and participation of double World Champion SBK Troy CORSER

Introduction

• Troy has been active during 20 years in the World Superbike Championship (1992 - 2011) with 6 different motorcycle brands: Yamaha, Ducati, Aprilia, Foggy Petronas, Suzuki and from 2009 untill 2011 with BMW.
• Since 2012, he is ambassador for BMW Motorrad Motorsport and participates at most of the BMW Motorrad Track Days, organised by EYBIS, managed by Frank Slabbynck.

6. To be brought by you

• Motorcycle that is technically 100% fit.
• dB-killer: only standard exhausts, and after market exhausts WITH dB-killers are authorised!
• Adapted motorcycle outfit, meaning obliged for everyone : leather suit (One-Piece recommended, Two-Pieces authorised), back protector (!), motorcycle boots, motorcycle gloves, fullface helmet
• ID-card
• For a BMW test ride, you also have to bring your drivers licence and your credit card (for the caution)
• Filled in and signed waiver of liability
• Good temper, discipline, good-fellowship, well-trained body and clear mind

c. Access to the paddock

1.Access time

• You can enter the paddock:
  • Friday 19.00 - 22.00
  • Saturday 07.00 - 22.00
  • Sunday 07.00 - 19.00

2. Two possible entrances

• Vehicles up to a height of 2,20 m : entrance "STER"
  • For this, coming from the E42, take exit 10.
• Vehicles higher than 2,20 m: entrance "BLANCHIMONT"
  • Via Stavelot-Blanchimont.
  • For this, coming from the E42, take exit 11.

8. Lodging

• Hôtel de la Source - 49 € per person

Our hotel partner for our event @ SPA FRANCORCHAMPS is the beautiful Hôtel de la Source, situated next to the circuit.

• What is included?

During our event, you have for a special EYBIS action price of 49 € the following :

• overnight stay for 1 person on the basis of a  2-persons bedroom (with 2 single beds)
  • in case you are a party of 3 : a 3-persons bedroom is also possible; the price per person stays the same
  • supplement if you would like a single person bedroom = 40 €
• further included:
  • covered and closed parking for car / motorcycle, under the hotel
  • free WIFI in the room
  • mini-bar in the room, with free soft drinks
  • breakfast
  • access to the welness

(the normal price for a 2-persons bedroom with 2 single beds is 182 € per night)

• Restaurant

The Restaurant is open on friday 13th and saturday 14th june until 11PM. On sunday 15th june, you are welcome until 10PM.

Breakfast is available on saturday and sunday morning 14th and 15th june from 6.30AM (normally only from 7AM).

• How to book a room ?

• Camping

The FREE camping is situated at the left side of the road between the roundabout and the "STER" entrance to the track.

Saturday evening - from 17.00 untill 19.00 - the customs & classics sprints will take place on that road.

Immediately after that you can enjoy the music of two consective LIVE bands, from 19.00 on.

• Paddock

In case you have a mobile home, caravan or modified van, you can stay the night for free in the paddock.

9. Pitbox - Electricity - Water connection - Showers - Toilets

a. Pitboxes

• The boxes are 18 x 6 m (= 108 square meter) and all have:
  • toilet
  • sink
  • water
  • electricity (only blue EURO plugs fit; these are available in camping- and DIY shops)
• For rent at 220 € / day
  • on friday evening and saturday morning, the price is 500 € in cash per pitbox, regardless if you booked for 1 or 2 days (= 2 x 220 € rent + 60 € bail)
  • on saturday evening and sunday morning, the price is 300 € in cash per pitbox (= 220 € rent + 80 € bail)
  • your 60 € bail will be handed back after:
    • you brought back the key
    • we verified your pitbox together in order to ensure ourselves that there is no:
      • damage
      • litter left and the box is brushed
  • if you bring your key back on saturday evening, than you will also be refunded your 220 € rent for sunday, in addition to your 60 € bail
• Key is available in the EYBIS pitbox n° 41

b. Electricity

• In the paddock and the pitboxen of SPA FRANCORCHAMPS, there are only 3-poles (blue) EURO "camping"-plugs usable (= of thet type "16 AMP bipolar").
• Don't forget to bring them along.

c. Water connexion

• Available in the pitboxes and in the entire paddock

d. Showers

• In the center of the paddock, there is a building with showers.

e. Toilets

• There is a toilet in every pitbox
• In the center of the paddock, there are also toilets in the shower building.

10. Prohibitions

• no drilling or knocking of holes in the ground (to fix your tent f.ex.)
• no smoking in the boxes, in the pitlane and along the circuit
• no unattended children in the pitlane
• no animals allowed on the entire domain of the circuit
• no "burn-outs", "wheelies" or "stoppies", on penalty of fine (imposed by the circuit) of 1.000 €

11. Administrative Formalities

a. Enrolments: in the EYBIS pitboxes n° 41-42

b. Noise inspection - Technical Inspection

• MANDATORY noise inspection (done by the staff of the track!)

  • Only standard exhausts and replacement exhausts with dB-killer will be authorised!

  • Noise limit = 100 dB

  • Hours to present your motorcycle for noise inspection
    • Friday evening from 20.00 untill 21.00
    • Saturday morning from 7.00 untill 8.15
    • Sunday morning from 8.00 untill 8.15
  • 320 participants have to present their motorcycle ... be on time so that you don't miss track time!

• Technical inspection

  • The technical inspection will be done at random.
  • Everybody is responsible for the good state of his own motorcycle. Pay special attention to the following :
    • Brakes, tires, oil leaks on crankcase and front fork
    • Noise : only standard exhausts and replacement / after market exhausts with dB-killer will be authorised!
    • Equipment : moto boots, leather gloves, good fitted full face helmet, back protector and leather suit (one-piece recommended) are mandatory. If the leather suit is a two-piece, then both pieces must be firmly zipped together.

• The Pit Brasserie - on the roof terrace of the F1 building - will be open daily from 7.30 untill 19.00
• There is a buffet available for 16 €.
• Cash as well as credit card are accepted.

17. Insurance

a. TPL Insurance = included

• With EYBIS, the Third Party Liability (TPL) insurance is included in your enrolment price since years.
• Some circuits require a license. The only reason for this is that there is a TPL insurance included in it.
• Because we provide for all participants - included in the price - such a TPL insurance, a license is not requested during our events and yet you are fully okay.

b. European Health Insurance Card

 

(we will not verify this, it 's only for your own comfort / safety)

 

VERY IMPORTANT: make sure to have your "European Health Insurance Card" (EHIC) with you. By showing this card, people know - in the domain of health (and injury) insurance - that you're completely covered in your own country and that every other country, that is a member of the European Union, has to give you all the needed care.If you haven't obtained your card from your health care insurance, than :

• apply for a card immediately;
• if you cannot receive it in time, ask them to e-mail to you a "Provisional replacement certificate for the European Health Insurance Card" (= 1 page, and this can be done immediately);

A list of "Dangerous sports" that are excluded from "urgent medical care abroad". Usually, "racing with car / motorcycle / outboard engines" is listed. But as we do not "race", our activity is not excluded from any treatment. Check if this is also the case with your insurance, and if it is not, just be sure to get an insurance yourself.

 

EYBIS has not only a very good insurance as an organiser, but insures also - on every event - all participants with a good TPL (= third partie liability) insurance.

 

If you have a racing license from your national motorcycle council, be sure to bring it with you.
